Along with your memorable standard or custom charter trips , my professional services include myself, a USCG 100 ton master, OUPV (6 pack) charter captain and a State of Alaska licensed and registered big Game Transporter, and some of the best equipment in the business. I hold a current CPR and a current first aid certification.
A non smoking and alcohol free veteran boater with over 15 years experience the pristine waters of Prince William Sound alone.
Captain's History
As, Dennis C Bowen, I was born in the great Northwest in 1958 in Bellingham Washington, where the outdoors and boating started to become part of my life style. Fishing and cruising the Puget Sound and the San Juan area along with my Alaskan experiences I have accumulated and established sea time and years of invaluable experience in handling all types of vessels in fresh water rivers to deep sea saltwater.
I became part of the Last Frontier in 1976. Now a licensed captain and owner of ALASKA GREAT WATER ADVENTURES with experience within the sport fish and commercial fishery, King Crab and the halibut industries ,experience with vessel from 20 to 120 ft. throughout Alaska, local knowledge and experience in the Bering Sea, inland rivers, to the near coastal water of the Gulf of Alaska, pristine Prince William Sound to the unsurpassed beauty of Southeast Alaska and the inside passage.
With a sterling and remarkable safety record believing that safety should never be compromised for you and your family. All our vessels exceed USCG safety standards.
As a lifelong avid fisherman and outdoorsman I proudly welcome you aboard our vessels.
